The Importance of Being an Engine

In the Christian faith, we are called to be engines, not cabooses. An engine is a powerful force that moves things forward, while a caboose is simply a trailing car that has no power of its own. As Christians, we are called to be leaders and to use our gifts and talents to make a difference in the world. We are not called to simply follow along and do what others tell us to do. We are called to be creative and innovative, to think outside the box, and to come up with new ideas that will help to make the world a better place.

When we are engines, we are using our gifts and talents to the fullest. We are making a difference in the world and we are helping to bring about God's kingdom. When we are cabooses, we are simply going along with the flow and we are not making any real impact. We are not living up to our full potential and we are not fulfilling our purpose in life.

So, how can we become engines? Here are a few tips:

1. Discover your gifts and talents. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? Once you know your gifts and talents, you can start to use them to make a difference in the world.
2. Be bold and courageous. Don't be afraid to step out and try new things. Don't be afraid to fail. Failure is a part of the learning process and it's how we grow and become better people.
3. Be persistent. Don't give up on your dreams. Keep working hard and keep believing in yourself. Eventually, you will achieve your goals.

Remember, we are called to be engines, not cabooses. We are called to be leaders and to make a difference in the world. So, go out there and use your gifts and talents to change the world!
